things to do

Coll de Nargó is one of the towns of the region in L’Alt Urgell with the most Romanesque heritage. The churches of St. Martí, St Climent de Coll de Nargó and St. Serni de Gavarra stand out among many others. Several museums can be visited, for example the Dinosaur Museumand also the Rafting Museum, which celebrates the traditional profession of rafting in the village.
Also worth a visit is the region’s capital, La Seu d’Urgell, above all for its historic centre. La Seu d’Urgell is also home to the Olympic Park where there is plenty of opportunity for outdoor activities, including canoeing and rafting. There is a road that crosses Valldarques’s river up toColl de Bòixols, where you can enjoy spectacular landscapes. The river forms natural pools, perfect for swimming in summer. Also on offer is hand-gliding at Fígols and Alinyà cross country skiing at St Joan de L’Erm and alpine skiing at Port del Compte. There are different itineraries to make walking hikes or by bicycle. For the fans of the mushrooms picking this is a suitable place and on the second Sunday of October takes place "La Fira del Rovelló". In Oliana's lake there is the possibility of going fishing but it will be necessary to ask for the permission in the village. Golf course in Aravall (20 minutes from Coll de Nargó).
