Garriguella hosts the Grape Harvest Party 2013 of the DO Empordà. This year it’s dedicated to the 50th anniversary of the local cooperative.
The Grape Harvest Party 2013 of the DO Empordà is celebrated on the weekend of 31st August – 1st September. This year it takes place in Garriguella to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the local cooperative, which “preserves the traditional methods generation after generation, combining it with the new technologies without losing the essence”, according to Carles A. Suárez, mayor of Garriguella.
The party includes all kind of activities, like a visit to the town cellars, pressing of the new must, concert and wine tasting of the cellars from Garriguella -Bodegas Trobat, Cooperativa Agrícola de Garriguella, Mas Llunes i Masetplana-.
