Clos de les Dòmines is a red wine with a high expression produced with grapes from the township of Espolla, on the shale grounds on the foothills of the Albera mountain range with a proper orientation to reach perfect maturity.
It is composed of 45% Merlot, 35% Cabernet Sauvignon and 20% red Carignane from aged vines.
The result of an applied way of fermentation and time of ageing is a highly concentrated wine, aged for 24 months in new, French oak barrels in order to refine its tannins and to provide it with the elegance and personality appropriate of a high quality wine.
between 15-16%, in sampling goblets of the appropriate form and volume, accompanying all the varieties of the famous red meats of the counties of Girona or one of the unsurpassed traditional dishes of the Empordà.
